Happy Monday, friends! I finally changed the blog picture. I never fully liked the original one, it was kinda dark and serious (LOL). So, glad to have a brighter and happier version! Now, onto a short blog on our perfect CHRIST!

"Love never ends ..." (ESV) "Love never fails ..." (NIV)

1 Corinthians 13:8

My first thought when I read this verse was CHRIST. JESUS is the perfect love; HE showed us on the cross that HIS love never fails, and HIS love never ends. HE never fails, and HE never ends. 

Having the ground foundation of JESUS' love never ending or failing, nor HIMSELF never ending nor failing, we can look at a couple verses here to give some encouragement! 

"Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you." - Hebrews 13:5

Our contentment in life rests solely on the foundation of CHRIST and who HE is. We can know for a sure fact that HE will never leave us because HE never fails, and HE never ends. There is nothing more perfect than JESUS to have as our anchor! 

Why my soul do I crave more than this? CHRIST is more than enough. LORD, help me live this way!

"For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you." - Isaiah 41:13

Our GOD who never fails nor ever ends. Our LORD whose love never fails nor ends. HE holds onto us. Why do we fear not? For HE is the one who helps us. 

This beautiful GOD that we have just briefly grazed the tips of grass in the vast universe of who HE is. HE is the one who holds onto us and helps us. What are overwhelming gift we have!

When we fail others, when others fail us, we have a SAVIOR who didn't fail us, nor will ever. When our love isn't measuring up, when others aren't showing us the love we want, we have the SON of GOD who showed us perfect love, and always will. 

HE is who I want to model my heart after. And when I fall short each day, I get to rest in HIS everlasting arms that will never end nor ever fail. What a GOD we love!
