Happy Monday, friends!

"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."
Ephesians 5:1-2

These verses are the sum of our entire lives! Why do we walk in love? Because CHRIST loved us, lived the perfect life we could not live, died the sacrificial death, and rose again, completing our life in HIM for all who believe.

We are HIS beloved children; we must imitate JESUS. Our life is HIS offering, so let us live it for HIM.

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Romans 12:1-2

"For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised."
2 Corinthians 5:14-15

"Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God."
Hebrews 13:15-16

"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

LORD, renew me each day to give me the strength and heart to continue living for you and growing more to be like YOUR Son, JESUS. I want to use this life to bring YOU glory each day, no matter what it brings. This mainly includes the daily routine and mundane, as well as the pain. It all is planned out by YOU, and should be used for YOU.

Let the love of CHRIST lead my lifeLet me grow and discipline my mind to be fixed on YOU each and every day. Every hour is an opportunity to repent and set my mind on the things that bring YOU glory.

I am not my own. I was bought with a price. And let this fact be the one that rules my life

LORD willing, see you all for our next cup of coffee together!

  1. Sabina, a few blogs ago you used the phrase: "Conviction City". Well, after your commentary and prayer in today's Blog, I think I paid it a visit..Of course, the Scriptures you chose were profound. It seems to me that our precious Lord is really moving in your life at this time. Please, keep your Blogs coming! You're not using a Puritan ghost writer, are you? 😉

  2. "This mainly includes the daily routine and mundane, as well as the pain." ... Amen, and vitally important reminder. Busyness is such a distraction the enemy can use against us, if not our own sinful desires of self ... then you add in pain, suffering, or any trial for that matter. But when we can realize, and be reminded like you have today, that we are a living sacrifice ... set aside for His glory (yet knowing He loves us and it's all for a loving purpose) it can help us strive to imitate Him driven by the knowledge of the love He has for us. Thank you for the reminders and wonderful washing of Scriptures.
