Still Brewing: Coffee #30

Hello, friends! Today, I bring a short, but beautiful encouragement for all GOD's children.

"so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord."
1 Corinthians 1:7-9

How comforting these verses are. JESUS will sustain us to the end. Through JESUS, we will be seen as blameless. GOD is faithful. HE who began a good work in us will bring it to completion
(I only noticed after I started writing this blog that Philippians 1:6 is also one of the theme verses at the top!)

"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."
Philippians 1:6

Then going back to verse seven in the 1 Corinthians passage, until we are completed in glorification, we are given all that we need here to live until JESUS's second coming. We are not lacking any gift from the LORD while we are here on earth.

We live for GOD's Kingdom and eternal life with JESUS, but we are not left to live in misery here. GOD loves us, and we have a purpose for our lives here. There is joy to be found in living for JESUS in the right now. We have fellowship with JESUS here on earth before living with HIM fully for eternity!

And we rest in CHRIST knowing that HE will sustain us to the end

LORD willing, see you all for our next cup of coffee together!

  1. Well Sabina, you have done it again! You have my mind so spinning that I have to vow to restrain myself. I'll keep it to one point: do those who deny Eternal Security, do so because they value their "free will" so much? That means they also have to deny Christ's ability to Sustain them to the end. What a sad way to live. However, if they have been truly saved, He will still sustain them to the end! What a wonderful Creator, Sustainer we have! Blessings

    1. This is so true. For those who are our brothers and sisters in CHRIST no believing in eternal security is just a sad way to live. I would feel like I'd be loosing my salvation each day!😂 I am so blessed we have a Savior who sustains us to the end and carries us when we cannot walk ourselves. 💗
